Please Read: Grants may be awarded for 50% of the student’s tuition, not to exceed $550. Students are responsible for the cost of tuition and fees at the time of enrollment. (Students are also responsible for class materials such as textbooks, supplies, etc.) Grants are dependent upon the student's eligibility as verified by providing documentation of financial need and the availability of funds. Students are required to fill out the FAFSA Student Aid Report Free Application for Federal Student (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov and provide a copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR). The grant funds are available for approved non-credit workforce training classes only. (Failure to pass any TVCC class will prevent future eligibility for grant funds.) Additional financial aid may be available to a student meeting other qualifications. Please contact the Continuing Ed office to see if you might qualify for additional assistance. Should TVCC not hold a class, only the class portion paid by the student will be refunded. TVCC Bookstore refunds are at the discretion of the bookstore. Grant awards are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Awards are not guaranteed until the registration is complete and the balance of the tuition and fees are paid.

1. Complete the Class Registration Form
2. Complete Continuing Education Financial Aid Application and provide approved documentation of financial aid needed. PLEASE NOTE: Verification status must be complete.
3. Return the application and documentation to TVCC Continuing Ed. office for final approval.
4. Pay tuition and fees at the time of enrollment.
